Participation in the First Online MMA Congress 2020

Nuclear medicine residents, from University institute  for positron-emission tomography, Skopje  participated in the First Online MMA Congress 2020, sharing their scientific work and knowledge in the field of nuclear medicine.

In his address to the Congress, Dr. Simon Beshliev, had an presentation on the following topic ,,F-18 FDG PET/CT imaging in recurrent and metastatic colorectal carcinoma: metabolic characteristics’’ by Dr. Simon Beshliev, Dr. Goran Spirov, Prim. Dr. Meri Angjeleska and Assoc. Prof. Ana Ugrinska.

Dr. Slavko Tasevski had presentation about ,, Use of 18F-NaF PET versus conventional bone scan with 99mTc-MDP in bone metastasis detection: literature review’’ by Dr Slavko Tasevski and Dr. Dushica Todorova Stefanovski.

Nuclear medicine session moderated by Prof Venjamin Majstorov, focused on modern trends and news in nuclear medicine and medical nuclear physics.

The Congress had being held from November 10 to 21, organized by the Macedonian Medical Association (MMA) and in cooperation with Medical Faculty at University “ Ss Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje, and was the first event of this type, which was held through ONLINE platforms.
